Dear Friends of YSU Bands:

Good afternoon!  I hope you are well and that your Ark is built as we must be nearing 40 days of rain here in NE OH :).  There are items in this Newsletter for your perusal and information:

The date and sign-up information for the YSU Bands Golf Outing on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Yankee Run Golf Course in Brookfield (15 confirmed with 9 slots remaining--first come, first serve!!).

Brandt Payne, Michael Crist, and I are excited to be able to host our 18th annual YSU Bands Golf Outing.  This event will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Yankee Run Golf Course, Brookfield, OH.  We have 6 tee times reserved (total of 24 players) with the first group teeing off at 10:03am.  Once we finish our round at Yankee Run, you are invited to head for Sharon PA's famous "Quaker Steak and Lube" for fellowship and great food and drink. If you wish to play in this year's outing, please write back to me at slgage@ysu.edu, ASAP.  Please invite your friends for a great day at Yankee Run.  I will send a confirmation note and schedule to all of those who register in mid-June.   

2011 YSU MARCHING PRIDE--the YSU Marching Pride, Dr. Brandt Payne, Director, will be traveling to Michigan State University in September to support the Penguins.  If you know of someone who should be in the 2011 YSU MP, please have him/her contact Dr. Payne at bpayne@ysu.edu or (330) 941-1834.  GO PRIDE & GO PENGUINS :).  We are looking forward to a bigger and better 2011 YSU MP!!

I know that it is a crazy time of year and I hope you are well and ready to bring a close to your year.  We have had a marvelous year at Dana and are looking forward to the 2011-2012 year, as well.
